Introduction The driving force behind Geographe Energy has been “Total Valve Care” - an innovative programme providing clients in the Oil & Gas Industry with a specialist service tailored to meet unique customer requirements. The company is backed by a team with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and provides a complete service including procurement, stocking, modification, overhaul, repair, test, certification and recertification to valves for both onshore and offshore service. Safety and quality are driving forces at Geographe Energy, therefore, stringent quality control guidelines govern every refurbishment, ensuring that attention to every detail is given. Specific emphasis and commitment are provided in determining the underlying cause of problem valves and to engineer solutions for them. Ball Grinding, specialised welding and Hydrostatic and Gas Pressure Testing to 20,000 psig are just some of the processes available in the refurbishment programme. Actuator services such as torque testing and instrumentation are also carried out with a high level of expertise. Stocks of elastomers and polymers are held at our Perth facility. Geographe Energy is located in Kewdale, Perth, Western Australia, with other service centres in the Pilbarra and Kalgoorlie. The Perth workshop is fitted with 20-Tonne and 5-Tonne overhead cranes, with drive-through access for low-loaders, giving the capability to handle large pieces of equipment quickly and easily.
