Coatings Electroless Nickel Plating and HVOF Spray coatings are subcontracted due to their specialised nature. All of these orders are supervised by Engineering (Metallurgical Department) , calling for test pieces to be coated in the same process batch as the equipment. The test piece is cut and has a full metallurgical examination prior to final finishing / assembly of the equipment. Geographe conduct this additional testing with all approved suppliers of these types of coating due to past experience of problems with inconsistent quality workmanship / facilities.
