Pressure Testing
Geographe Energy has
Hydrostatic testing facilities to 20,000 psig, having digital chart recording and calibrated ‘Budenberg’ gauges. The systems are manufactured from Stainless Steel and can be transported to site if required.
Geographe Energy also has a Gas Booster system, designed for testing with Nitrogen to 20,000 psig. It has digital chart recorders, flow meters and Budenberg
gauges. Submerged Gas Testing is currently carried out in a steel tank capable of holding a 40” x 900# Ball Valve and protected by reinforced precast concrete walls.
This is watched via close circuit TV (Monitor positioned in Gas testing unit). The Gas System is manufactured from Stainless Steel and can be transported to site if required.
Geographe Energy’s nitrogen gas testing facility can simulate offshore and onshore actual working conditions to ensure complete integrity of overhauled equipment.
