Geographe Energy Opens Karatha Facility

The Geographe Energy Karratha Facility is located approximately 1561km north west of Perth in the heart of the Pilbara. The facility is now operated by 3 full time staff and numerous fly in/out personnel on a regular basis, with a minimum of 4 personnel on site at any given time.

The facility is comprised of two premises, the first being a 500 square meter workshop which incorporates a clean room, storage, control valve workshop and machining capabilities including milling and lathe centers. This workshop is a support workshop designed for the specific use as outlined above and for shutdown support.

The main workshop which is of 1000 square meters is purpose built for Geographe Energy and is designed and structured to meet the requirements of our core business, including the reception/administration, Hydrostatic Test Unit, Gas Test Unit, PSV Test Bench, Overhead Crane, Storage and work areas designed for our everyday maintenance requirements.

The facility is manned during the hours of 7.00am to 5.30pm Monday through Friday and available for afterhours work and call outs on a 24hour per day basis 7 days per week, to meet the requirements of each of our clients. Our personnel are also currently inducted to numerous sites within the Pilbara and can be utilized onsite and offsite at any time. Our personnel may be utilized via the facility, onsite or even capable of short term offshore work scopes.

We are supported by skilled personnel from within the Geographe Energy Kewdale Operations as and when required. Further local support is utilized from third party vendors which may at times assist in the operational aspects of the facility.

Our facility prides itself on our high standard of Health and Safety and Quality functions, in line with our AS/NZS Accreditations for HSE (4801), Quality (9001) and NATA certifications.
